“My father is in his 80’s
and Security and comfort are key for him these days. So it was a real
body blow when dad discovered before Xmas 2015 that the flat roof to
his back extension was badly leaking, to such an extent that it caused
tiling to fall from the inside walls. The room had a damp feel and
leaking heat left right and center.

At short notice and at an unsocial
hour, Spiro was good enough to come out and take a look at the issue.
At no cost he made sure that a temporary cover was at optimum position
to reduce further damage, and he provided a professional written
quotation hand delivered to my father (as he isn’t on the internet) for
him to consider one of the many solutions proposed.

I can be quite
demanding with contractors (I have often dealt with many different
trades in my full time job) but Spiro took it all in his stride and
handled my many requests with consummate professionalism.

We changed
the spec of the job at short notice and even this didn’t phase Spiro,
who promptly provided an alternative quote which delighted us to such
an extent that we subsequently agreed to go ahead with the repair.
The flat roof repair was completed on time and to agreed budget and
specification. The site was left clean and tidy and a very effective
and good looking repair was the result.

We had some badly cracked stone lintels dividing our sash windows in our bay. We had had a quote for stone replacements from several companies but the prices were so expensive we thought we might not be able to afford to have them repaired. As they were painted, Spiro suggested they could be cast out of concrete. He made a mold matching the stone ones perfectly, reinforced them with rods and, several weeks later after fitting, our bay window looks like new. Clever chap. We can highly recommend him and NG Building Company.
